What's in LJ's Bag?

So today, I finally got to pack our baby girl's hospital bag. I did some research and here's what I have narrowed down so far. Take note, these are just for our baby's bag.

There are still some stuff that we need to purchase, basically those that I have missed out.

These are here baby bags. The left one is from Auntie Myn and Uncle Mike, while the other one is from Doc Ada from church. :)

Onesies: These have long sleeves as our baby will arrive during winter. the top 4 were actually from her Kuya Ethan! (Thank you!!) They were my personal favorites that Ethan would used to wear! I especially loved the striped grey and white with the dino print hehe. It also has a dino print in the butt area. So cute! Hehe! I also loved the one with Monkey prints.

(I also kept smelling these coz it just smelled like Ethan, I miss that boy!)

Shortsleeved Onesies: I packed about 6 pcs. I want to make sure I have more than enough. :)

Something for the cold weather. Justyne received a lot of clothes from different people and a lot from her Kuya Ethan. These two hooded jackets are actually Ethan's. The striped one is actually meant for a boy as it says in the print, but I figured this is okay for our baby.

Accessories!!! these were also from our baby shower :) The booties were from Ninang Kristle, love it! Will be packing more mittens though, gonna go through Ethan's hand me downs.

From what I can remember, as a baby, I didn't have much hair. The same goes for JR. So I told myself I would like Justyne to get used to wearing headbands hehe! :)

Blanket, swaddles and bath towel. I think I might add more swaddles to bring. Besides these, I also packed burp cloths, bibs and desitin for diaper rash. I figured the hospital might provide her something similar to Desitin but it wouldn't hurt to bring our own.

Other essentials I have in her bag are the following:

- diapers

- baby wipes (although I intend on using cotton balls and water for her during her 1st month)

- her kikay/grooming kit. (of course, I would want our baby girl to be always looking and smelling fresh!)

Another tip that I got from a friend (thanks Elaine) was to put her stuff in plastic bags and label each. This way, when things are going crazy with me during labor at the hospital and I might not have the energy to think or give instructions to JR and the nurse, I wouldn't have to worry about it. So I grouped the stuff and sealed them in plastic bags. This is actually how I would normally pack for my clothes when going on a trip, why didn't I think of doing it for our baby?

Putting the clothes in a plastic just didn't protect and seal the smell, but also gave me more room in her diaper bag! Genius idea!

Now, I have more space! Brilliant! :)
