New Doctor

I was already getting homey and comfortable knowing that my doctors in Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills are all very nice and accommodating. But since I had insurance issues, sadly, Kaiser can no longer take us.

My insurance is the restricted Medi-Cal one. Meaning, it only covers emergency related cases, prenatal, delivery and postpartum. Apparently, policies at Kaiser has changed and they no longer accept restricted Medi-Cal, but just he full coverage ones.

So I decided to check out Glendale Adventist Hospital. I called their numbers and looked for an OB GYN that accepts restricted medi-Cal insurance, and I found one! yay!

We had our first appointment set on July 7, 2015.

Prior to our appointment, I googled about Dr. John Artenos. Turns out he has a Facebook page where all feedbacks were good! I got all excited! Not only is Glendale Adventist 10 min away from our place, I felt like I will be in good hands.

So how as first time in his clinic? It was okay. I didn't see him friendly enough compared to the doctors I have spoken to at Kaiser. However, it could just be because he was having a busy day. His nurses and assistants were all really nice and sweet! They are very accommodating and I like it!

Look at our precious jellybean!

We took a selfie before I had my pap smear, which mind you was painful.

First ever family selfie!!
