1+2 = 3!!!

We are pregnant!!! And it happened at the time when I kinda stopped hoping that I will get pregnant. You see, as soon as we got married, JR and I have tried :) And everytime I will have my pregnancy test and get a negative result, I would always feel a bit depressed. I know I shouldn't be, but thing is we started late. I'm now 33 and my fear of not being able to conceive is scary..

So let me tell you the (funny) story of how we found out.

It was a Thursday (May 21) and that weekend, we are going out with friends - clubbing. It's something that we haven't done in a long while and we thought, it would be fun hanging out with our friends here in LA.

That same week, I am expecting my period by Saturday, if i remember it correctly. So I was having those signs that my period is coming soon. I was kinda cranky and moody, and my breasts were really extra tender. I gave up on the thought that maybe I am pregnant since I haven't missed my period, PLUS, I really wasn't hoping anymore.

So Thursday, JR asked me to take a pregnancy test to be sure that I can have some alky in case I feel like it by Saturday evening. I'm like, okay whatever. So I peed on the test and then when I saw that one line, I told JR "Baby it's negative" then just put the test by the window in the restroom.

JR then left for the gym while I was just at home. When JR came back from the gym, I happen to go to the restroom and thought of throwing the another negative test. But lo and behold, THERE WERE TWO LINES!!! I screamed "Baby the test is POSITIVE! I'm pregnant". JR thought I was just pranking him. haha!

Besides the JR, the other person who knew about the baby was our youngest member of the family - Ethan! JR and I were just so excited we wanted to tell someone :)

May 23rd - the date that Ethan found out! But of course, he kept it as a secret! hehe!

The following day, Sunday, we met up with Kuya Dawn for lunch. We thought it would be best we tell him too before he leaves for vacation and get some insights too on the next steps as he might be familiar as he is a nurse. We also shared the news to one of my bestfriends and MOH, Veronica. :)

Before we went home, Kuya dawn suggested that we drop by Kaiser to get checked. You know just to make sure I am really pregnant. Hehe! Since we didn't want to announce it yet, i just posted this photo on IG:
