Finally, Together!

It has been a week since JR and I arrived in LA from Manila. I know I will only be here until June 3rd, but I won't ask for more but to be with my husband after our wedding. As soon as JR gets his citizenship, then he can finally file for petition me from the Philippines and we can finally be together as how it should be.

See my puffy eyes? Even if I know I'll be coming back to Manila by June, I still kept crying because I left there all my nieces and nephew, sisters and mom.

So how was it being with him as husband and wife? I can probably say it's one of most joyful feelings I have ever felt. It feels great to know that he is just within reach and I no longer need to adjust my sleeping hours or try to wake up early just to catch him for Facetime call. No more timezone differences! :)

Right now, we are living in a studio type back house that we are renting. I love having our own place. I love the idea that we have our own bed, our own mini kitchen, we share the same bathroom and closet! Since I don't have a job right now, I am focused on learning how to cook and being a good home maker.

When we got home, I know what to expect already - a messy apartment! hehe! It was all good because I love organizing a place, especially if it's my own place. Below is how our place looked like when we arrived.

Since we were both tired from the long plane ride, we didn't bother unpacking our stuff asap.

The next days, I spent unpacking and organizing our place. This is the best that I can do :)

Got rid of all the balikbayan boxes and stored all stuff in our closet.

My mini kitchen :)

Our dining table and our "sari sari store" hehe!

Our entertainment area. lol

of course, our favorite place, the bed!

I love our red front door.. that is our closet, and next to it is our trash can. I am thinking of transferring the trash can outside.

Our shared bathroom which still needs a lot of organizing.

There's still a lot of things to fix and organize in our place, but I am so happy of what I have acoomplished! I truly feel like a Mrs. now! hehe!
